They are easy to slip into and out of hands-free, which is what I was looking for. These are great for just slamming your feet into quickly so you can dash outside and get the mail. But they are also pretty comfortable to wear around the house all morning. There must be a lot of foam in the insoles because I feel like I'm walking on marshmallows.Warmth is decent, but since the back is open (for slipping into and out of), these aren't going to be as warm as slippers that cover you all around the back of the heel. But they are certainly warm enough for home use and for brief excursions outside on chilly mornings. Wear them with socks and you get warmth plus it will take longer for your slippers to end up smelling terrible, which always seems to happen to fuzzy slippers eventually.The sole is thick and tough for slippers, which is why they make good outdoor slippers. All in all, I'm happy with these and will be wearing them every morning for a while to come.My husband loves these slippers they are comfortable to were and have memory foam. He puts these on as soon as he gets home from work.
